Glenn A. Loomis, MD, MSHM, FAAFP

    Glenn A. Loomis, MD, MSHM, FAAFP is a high-energy, patient-centered healthcare executive with extensive success in driving strategy, operations, and advocacy for dynamic healthcare systems and physician groups. His expertise is in directing cross-functional departments and teams consisting of 400+ providers, managing multi million-dollar P&L and facilitating relationships while reporting to Boards of Directors. While revenues are important for operations, Glenn is equally dedicated to achieving positive patient outcomes and satisfaction. He is known for centering executive team members around a common vision, revitalizing organizational cultures to deliver world-class healthcare and building relationships with stakeholders including Boards, healthcare-related organizations and government entities. For 20 years, Glenn has pushed the envelope and challenged the status quo while elevating the healthcare systems to the next level. Presently, Glenn leverages his interest in healthcare technology (HCIT) and passion for physician-patient interactions as the Chief Medical Officer of Vocalto. Glenn has created and executed the vision for an automated physician documentation system focused on improving physician morale, reducing administrative burden and increasing face time between patients and physicians. Additionally, he was recognized as a thought leader in healthcare IT, presenting on “A Primer on Artificial and Augmented Intelligence” at the American Medical Association’s 2018 annual meeting. Technology has become a critical component of successful healthcare operations, and Glenn keeps a pulse on the latest technological developments and analyzes their potential impact on the industry. He contributed as one of the five most senior leaders at Health Quest, a four-hospital system and revenues exceeding $1B. While overseeing the physician group, three service lines, clinical laboratory, medical education, and digital health innovation, Glenn has consistently improved EBITDA, inpatient quality metrics and provider engagement. He also concurrently served as President of Health Quest Medical Practice, driving growth and development of a physician organization with 300+ providers and 900+ employees.

    Before joining Health Quest, Glenn was tapped for the role of SVP at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, $1.1B in revenue and $1.7B in assets, five- hospital system. He expanded the group from 132 to 400+ providers within four years. At the same time, he steered the business strategy as President and CEO of the system’s physician group, in-focus on expansion through practice acquisitions, JVs and startups, and received multiple awards for education, public service, and leadership.
