Management fee: 9% of collections to fully outsource your revenue cycle management, with the option for us to lead your in-house billing team.

 

Payer Negotiations (variable management fee)

Reimbursement challenges are prevalent in healthcare, but with our expertise in payer negotiations, we help healthcare providers renegotiate contracts, benchmark fee schedules, and ultimately increase reimbursement rates. Our partnership with PayerPrice ensures you gain full visibility into every fee schedule, allowing you to secure better rates without complex negotiations. PayerPrice gathers in-network reimbursement rates of competitors ($8,500 per state).

 

Management fee: $10k monthly to facilitate a full-fledged negotiation process.

 

Talent Acquisition & Management

A healthcare organization’s success is deeply rooted in its talent. We assist you in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent, whether it's executive leadership, healthcare providers, or operational staff. Our strategic recruitment and comprehensive onboarding programs ensure that you build a team aligned with your growth and operational goals.

 

Management fee: $5k monthly for allocating dedicated resources, and a success fee based on the percentage of the candidate’s first-year compensation due upon hiring. Depending on the position level, success fees range from 10 to 20%.

 

Strategic Iniaitives (Mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, partnership buyouts, etc.)

Our board’s vast experience in healthcare enables us to develop customized growth roadmaps, conduct market and competitive analysis, and implement practiec-wide optimization. This hands-on approach ensures that your practice adapts to industry dynamics and maximizes its competitive edge.

 

Management fee: Executive level advisory is offered at a preferred rate of $15k per month and requires a 3-month minimum engagement. A well trailored execution plan and monthly access to our CEO & board will be included.

 

Tech Solutions Deployment

Management fee: Highly dependent on the scope of work, direct oversight, integration, and implementation support  is provided to deploy new technology with a monthly charge of $5k-$14k,

 

Capital Advisory for Debt Financing

 

KVLR’s Capital Advisory services empower your healthcare organization to leverage external funding and align financial strategies for sustainable growth. We connect your practice with the our preferred financial partners to secure the funding you need for expansion, technology investment, and working capital. Our process includes a detailed financial assessment, strategic lender matching, and ongoing support through the negotiation and closing stages to ensure favorable terms.

 

Management fee: $25k over 60 days, and a success fee based on a percentage of raised debt (2-5%).

 

Financial Oversight & Management

Our team provides high-level financial oversight, offering interim CFO solutions to ensure your finance department is optimized for growth. The MSO will lead budgeting, forecasting, revenue generating strategies, and implement cost reductions with founder's approval, 

 

Management fee: $20k monthly (ad-hoc).

 

Value-Based Care Transition 

We assist practices in transitioning to value-based care models by providing guidance on workflow optimization, data collection, and payer contract renegotiation. Our goal is to help you not only make the transition but to thrive within the value-based care landscape, maximizing both patient outcomes and financial performance.

 

Management fee: Determined by the scope of work and requires an in-depth asseessment of lives under management, geograpahic location of the company, and length of process. We will tailor our preferred fees based on the complexity of the transition process and specific expectations of the shareholders. 

 

Strategic Partnerships 

KVLR works with healthcare organizations to identify and secure strategic partnerships, including majority and minority equity partners who bring both capital and operational expertise to scale. The KVLR team will consider the opportunity for it's own fund and if it's not a good mutual fit will assist with finding the right partnership. KVLR's investment criteria is suited for companies with a minimum of $5 million EBITDA and a 5-7 year growth horizon. 

 

Management fee: $25k over 60 days, and a success fee based on purchase price (3-8%). For general partnership negotiations such as joint ventures and affiliate models, a monthly retainer of $10k and a success fee based on a percentage of the annual revenue generated by the agreement will be applied.

 

Complete Business Exits

When you're ready to sell, our team guides you through the process and negotiations terms in your best interest. We provide executive support throughout the entire process—sourcing potential acquirers if needed and negotiating terms to closing your deal. Our approach is to help you maximize your valuation before completing the sale, whether  that is helping you with business development strategies or helping improve profit margins. 

 

Management fee: $25k over 60 days, and a success fee based on purchase price (3-8%). For exits with a an acquirer already in place, a flat retainer of $25k and a 5% success fee will be applied.

 

 

MSO Bundled Services

 

Level 1: Revenue Cycle Management, Account Receivables Recovery, and Day-1 Billing

 

KVLR will manage multiple teams of accounts receivable analysts to handle follow-ups and resolve outstanding accounts. We will be responsible for all third-party payer balances and will oversee billing and follow-up for accounts within primary financial classes and aging. Depending on volume, deploy 5–30 offshore accounts receivable representatives and 2-3 onshore full-time employees to manage the work, including copying, distribution, mailings, and follow-up calls with payers.

 

The team will perform activities such as initiating follow-up with third parties, resubmitting claims to carriers, identifying denial reasons, and working to resolve them. We will also reclassify misaligned balances to secondary payers or self-pay, initiate primary and secondary billing, process adjustments, and identify root causes of issues. All work will be documented within the client’s EHR system according to their SOPs.

 

Management fee: $3-6k monthly based on revenue, 120+ Day Recovered AR at 25% of collections, and Day-1 Billing at 8% of collections.

 

Level 2: Growth focused services including RCM, Business Development, M&A, and Financial Oversight

 

KVLR will create and execute a growth strategy by leveraging our broad, multidisciplinary teams of designated professionals. Our approach includes providing ongoing advisory oversight to specific departments and simultaneously focusing on two distinct initiatives across different departments, with active involvement from multiple teams.

 

We will implement a multi-tier approach to manage and staff teams of accounts receivable analysts. These analysts will act as follow-up representatives, reviewing and resolving outstanding accounts assigned to KVLR.

 

Management fee: $15-20k monthly based on revenue, and day-1 Billing at 7% of collections.

 

Level 3: Executive Level Management, RCM, Finance, Operations, HR, Compliance, M&A, Advisory

 

KVLR will focus on all initiatives simultaneously, with active involvement from our multidisciplinary teams, including our board of directors. We provide ongoing oversight of multiple teams while leading staff through the execution of growth plans, such as expansion, value-based care implementation, contract negotiation, physician recruitment, staff management, marketing, business development, and mergers & acquisitions.

 

You can select the leadership role you need, and we can train or place an interim CEO, COO, or CFO as needed. We also conduct due diligence across several departments, including talent acquisition, billing and coding efficiency, financing needs, sell-side preparation, and merger advisory (if applicable). Our multidisciplinary teams consist of highly skilled professionals, with KVLR handling staffing and talent management.
